How to make a banner or big flag
I thought I'd post this for anyone who wanted to make a banner or flag.
Banner
1. Get a 1m length of calico from a materials shop eg Spotlight or Lincraft. Trim it if neccessary depends on how you want it.
2. Buy a wooden pole from a hardware shop get it cut in half
3. Buy a staple gun and fold the 2 ends of the banner around the pole and put staples in
4. Paint your banner
5. You're done!
Cost: About $30
Big Flag
1. Get blue and white ripstock nylon again how much depends on how big the flag and what design
2. Get a 1.8m paint roller pole or a length of PVC piping for the pole, and pick up strong tape. If you use PVC buy a wooden pole and chop it into little pieces and wrap the tape around the pieces to join the pieces of PVC. If a paint roller pole they stick by tape easy.
3. Roll whichever end of the flag you want around the pole, sow it together
4. Then you're done!
