Idea for thread starting ban for users with <50-100 posts

Nick is there a way to do so? Nate (Who is banned) started a few stupid threads. Maybe we can stop other users posting stupid/spam threads.

Yes.
Will I do it?
No.
Why?
1 - It won't stop stupid threads
2 - It arbitrarily punishes people regardless of their actions
and 3 (Most of all) - It is a barrier to participation
To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin "Any forum member who would take away a little freedom for a little less hassle deserves"
