EVENT - PARADE OF REMEMBERANCE - 31/5/09 - INFORMATION THREAD

So today Mr Cooney put this in the daily notices:

"All students are reminded that on Sunday 31 May the College will conduct the 58th Annual Parade of Remembrance. All students are required to attend and will need to be seated in house areas by 1.30pm on the day. Full winter uniform with coat/blazer will be required".

It will be on the Main Oval as per usual. Your parents are invited to attend with you let's pray it's better weather than what it was last year.

* All parade participants are to report to the College no later than
9.30am. Unit photos will be taken at 12.00pm followed by lunch
(provided).
* All Cadets in recruit companies are to be seated in the designated
Cadet seating area by 1.00pm.
* All other students of the College are to be seated in House areas
no later than 1.30pm.
* The Parade will commence at 1.45pm and will conclude at
approximately 3.00pm. An afternoon tea will be served in the
Old Boys Room at the conclusion of the event.

To those that are going in the parade of rememberance:

Parade of Remembrance Rehearsal Friday 22nd May 2009: This will commence, as usual, immediately after Period 5 concludes. Cadets to assemble in guards on the parade ground, Band to collect instruments as quickly as possible, guard commanders to ensure they form up with Kendo sticks. Cadets are to wear DPCU uniform due to the prevailing conditions and forecast for more of the same. Should rain be probable during the rehearsal, cadets are to wear appropriate wet weather gear.
